INTRODUCING: POLARITY | TENSION

— A COLLABORATION WITH SONICCOUTURE

In collaboration with our friends at Soniccouture we’ve developed Polarity | Tension —a sample-based virtual instrument built around the concept of explorative cinematic music & sound design.

At its core, Polarity | Tension is a dual-layer granular instrument that blends custom recorded industrial-machine recordings, extended-string techniques, abstract vocalisations, and environmental resonances and elevates them to musial textures through the use of granular synthesis.
It’s designed to be a versatile tool for crafting cinematic cues and unique soundscapes, deeply inspired by the works of artists like Hildur Guðnadóttir, Ben Frost, Bobby Krlic, and Jóhann Jóhannssonn,

Polarity | Tension is not a one-size-fits-all instrument. It has character, feels gruff, and sometimes answers your questions differently forcing you to explore. It’s best viewed as an abstract musical tool, slotting right in with composers and sound dsigners looking to venture into experimental music, expressive sound design, and sound art.

Circular begins with a single note, but it never stays there. It moves, shifts, and evolves into a living, cinematic sequence. With four fully independent layers, each step becomes a canvas — modulating pitch, filter, and effects in real time. What starts as a simple sketch quickly transforms into a motion-rich score, giving you the speed to compose fast and the depth to create something truly your own

Together with our friends at The Solos we developed a bunch of presets for this magical tool developed by Kontakt genius Frank Elting (Ashlight, Pharlight).

toontrack - EZKEYS 2 TIME MACHINE

inspired by the past, reimagined for today

Inspired by the shimmering haze of the timeless tones that propelled the synth-fueled revolution of the ’80s but reimagined with today’s technology, this EKX for EZkeys 2 presents a sonic retrospective with an all-new perspective. If you’re looking for sounds evidently rooted in nostalgic charm but with modern depth and clarity, this is the go-to expansion for EZkeys 2.

The main underlying instrument in this EKX was inspired by one of the most iconic synths of the ’80s. From that, numerous patches were modeled to create the best possible range. To further shape each sound, additional sampled hardware synths and effects were then layered, blended and refined to create fresh, one-of-a-kind textures of warm and analog-inspired tones ideal for any type of modern pop production.

DOORS

SHORT FILM

We’ve once more teamed uop with director Josh Boon and composed the score for his new short “Doors”.

Premiering on the short film circuit in 2026, Doors is a rapid-fire short exploring fear and consciousness through the lens of one disoriented young woman. Inspired by the idea of “the doors of perception,” this compact genre-bender slips between realities and metafiction —all in 90 seconds.

Where Light Meets the Void

Astra is an expansion for CUBE that blends interstellar beauty with an unsettling darkness.

Astra opens a portal to the cosmos with a collection of ethereal vocals, bold synths, and neo-classical extended string techniques. Using a combination of analog and granular processing, Astra seamlessly blends natural and synthetic instruments to create a unique palette with a focus on solo performances and experimental sound design.
